 June 27, 2009 - A super group of kids from Nashville Inner City Ministry enjoyed a hot afternoon of fishing with Back 40 Outreach. Yes, the temperature was extremely hot, but so was the fishing. Most of the kids seemed to catch their share of catfish, bass, and bream. There was even a turtle reeled to shore.There were several kids that caught their very first fish and what a joy it was to see the smiles. There is nothing quite like watching a kid learn how to bait a hook, cast a line, and successfully bring a fish to the bank. By the end of the day, they were fishing like old pros. If you were not busy reeling in a whooper, you were probably enjoying a hot dog and just relaxing by the lake.
